Tiger (Original - mixed media)

Tigers and big cats in general hold a special place in my heart.

The tiger (Panthera tigris) is the largest cat species in the world and is native to Asia. They inhabit diverse environments, including tropical forests, grasslands, and mangrove swamps. Tigers are listed as endangered, with fewer than 4,000 individuals left in the wild due to habitat loss, poaching, and human-wildlife conflict. Conservation efforts are ongoing to protect their populations and natural habitats.
