Christmas Robin - original mixed media

Robins are a traditional sight in UK gardens and in the winter time, they live up to their names of having a red-breast. The scan of this robin does not illustrate the lustre of the gold ink in this picture, sadly. 

This robin is painted with a mixture of watercolour paint, and gold ink on Strathmore Mixed Media vellum surface paper (300 gsm), with coloured pencils used for the detail.

Dimensions: 22.9 x 30cm (9 x 12 inches).
